Show Widows' Day in Summit Stake. Special to Tho Tribune. COALVILLE, Nov. 2. Yesterday was widows' day In Summit stake and It was generally observed. At Coalville, tho ladles la-dles of tho relief society prepared a lino lunch for all tho widows and poor peoplo peo-plo and Invited them to their hall, where a programme was rendered, consisting of songs, speeches, recitations, graphaphono selections, etc., and the guests greatly enjoyed the treat. The bishop of the ward had a carload ot coal which was distributed to all the poor peoplo, so that they will havo plenty to keep them warm lhl3 winter. W. L. Hansen's team wanted a llttlo exercise ex-ercise yesterday afternoon and they took a lively stunt up Center street Charles Clayton had tho tenm at the depot loading load-ing freight on the wagon, when something frightened the horses and they ran away. Young Clayton was on the wagon and tried hard to koop the animals under control, con-trol, but the planks on the wagon began to fall off and the boy jumped off and escaped uninjured. The team finally ran Into tho old mill race. Tho freight was scattered all along tho road from the depot, de-pot, and the only Injury done was breaking break-ing tho wagon a little. Tho Misses Hannah Rhoad and Blanche Young gave a very successful Halloweon party Monday at tho home of the former. Tho young ladles barred nil young men from attending, but before the party was over and the girls got homo they were sorry they did not Invito the boys. They had a glorious time, so they say, playing all kinds of spookey games that could ever bo Imagined. Thcv wore all dressed ln white, with their faces painted especially espec-ially for tho occasion. After all tho games wero played dainty refreshments were served.
