Show THE TALISMAN SELLS FOR HUNDRED THOUSAND Clarence Rao, the Chicago attorney who recently took an option on the Talisman mine, the Roosevelt Hot Springs and other properties of P. B. McKeon, returned from Chicago yesterday yester-day and announces that tho deal has been consummated and now only awaits Mr. McKeon's presence at Chicago Chi-cago to execute the final papers, says tho TImeB of Mllford. Tho Talisman and Stalwart mines aro to be deeded by Mr. McKeon to tho Mllford Metal Mines Investment company, which already al-ready owns the Roosevelt Hot Springs. The entire capital stock of the Mllford Metal Mines Investment company will then be purchased from Mr. McKeon by the syndicate represented by Mr. Rae for $100,000 cash. The company Is now capitalized at $500,000 and owns several other mining properties besides those mentioned. Tho purchasing syndicate, Mr. Rao slates, is composed of some of the most prominent capitalists of Chicago. They Include Montgomery Ward, John W. Gates. Charles Gates. T. P. Shedd, a partner of Marshall Field, Col. Robert Rae and others equally prominent. The same crowd owns the Gilt Edge mine ln Montana, which is paying monthly dividends of $40,000. |
