Show BOYS AND GIRLS EVEN IN NUMBER OF BIRTHS Boys and girls balance in ihe birth reports for the Week ending April 23rd. The report of the Board of Health for the period shows 21 males and a like number of females. The number of deaths for the week was 2i, males 10 and females 14. During the week 2 cases of scarlet fever were reported and 3 were discharged, dis-charged, leaving 3 cases in quaranUno at close of report. Seven cases of diphtheria were discharged and no new cases being reported during the week, but 1 case remains in quarantine. Fourteen Four-teen cases of whooping cough were reported. re-ported.
