Show 100 I COUNTY AFFAIRS The Bingham Police Justice Monthly Month-ly Reports Piled The county commissioners were in session yesterday and disposed of a miscellaneous lot of routine business I including the appropriating of the regular reg-ular monthly pay rolls and a number of current expense claims In the matter of the vacant justice I ship of the peace at Bingham the county attorney advised the board that it had authority to fill the vacancy by appointing a suitable and competent I person but action was deferred until Deputy Sheriff Heaston submits a name with his recommendation for appointment appoint-ment MONTHLY REPORTS I County Clerk Dunbar reported the fee earnings during the month of November I in the office of the district court clerk at 73715 and the months receipts from I licenses and fees in the county clerks office at 105518 Sherif Lewis reported the fee earnings earn-ings for November in his office ut 15162 The report of Superintendent Whipple I of the county infirmary showed five pauper patients admitted during November No-vember four discharged and three died leaving 65 inmates at the end of the month monthWANT I WANT INCREASED PAY I Engineer Lawrence requested an increase I in-crease of salary paid by the county from 40 to 45 per month County Auditor Aud-itor Caine petitioned for a raise of salary sal-ary from 30 to 40 monthly for Miss Mitchell and County Recorder Jensen recommended that the monthly pay of Miss Ida J Pratt be increased to 50 on account of extra work and efficient services Action on these three matters mat-ters was deferred The board will meet again Monday afternoon next 11 I |
