Show GOLDEN GATE ACCIDENT Joseph Garricks Hand Mangled B y the Cable Mercur Utah Dec 2Joseph Gar rick a boy 19 years of age who cam < from Minneapolis about a week ago met vith a serious accident on th olden Gate millsite He was riding 01 the car which transfers the iron from the railroad to the different levels of the mill and lost his balance He fell to the ground catching the cable with his right hand His right hand was drawn around the block on the front of the car and badly lacerated It was feared at first that all four fingers I would have to be amputated but Drs Castloman and Woodward who dressed I the wounds hope to safe the fingers although it is possible that the hand will be stiff W T Shelton and 12 of his party of engineers were in camp the other day on business connected with the Jordan I Narrows Electric Light company The wires have been strung through town and a party of men are at work putting put-ting the wiring in the stores and houses |
