Jack Mason and Marion Manola Married Special t THE HERALD Examiner Cable LONDON May 2 Jack Mason ant Marion Manola were married in the quietest manner man-ner possible yesterday by license at the offices of-fices of the registrar for the Bloomsbury district Miss Manola only reached Eng land this week and the wedding took place at the earliest moment permitted bylaw The time for the ceremony had been fixed L for 1 oclock and the bridegroom accompanied accom-panied by Arthur H Forrest arrived at the office punctually Forrest bride who was escorted by United States Consul General New was over twenty minutes late The party were all quietly dressed and appeared in high humor The bride was given away by Mr New who signed the register with Forrest as witnesses Jack Mason gave his age as thirtytwo while Miss Manola gave hers as twenty nine both giving the same address as that of their previous residence in London The wedding breakfast was served at the Cafe Royal where the health of the bride was proposed in glowing language by the con sulgeneral and responded to in feeling terms by the bridegroom The happy pair then left for Brighton Jack Mason having a night off at the St James theatre Their future plans are indefinite
