Show Services held Tuesday for Florence Ellis Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Wheeler Mortuary Chapel, for Mrs. Florence Strong Ellis, 76, who died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1964, at her home, 497 South Main, following a long illness. Bishop Morgan Thomas of the Second Sec-ond Ward officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery directed by Wheeler Mortuary. She was born March 10, 1888, in Mapleton, the daughter daugh-ter of James P. and Mary Anderson An-derson Larsen. She was married to Asa Strong on March 9, 1905, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1914. She later married James Ellis El-lis on Jan. 18, 1919, in Spring-voile. Spring-voile. He died inl926. Mrs. Ellis was a member of the LDS Church. Surviviing are one son and two daughters, Roy A. Strong and Mrs. Arthur C. (Mary) Boyer, both of Springville; and Mrs. Robert (Lola) LeVitre, Provo. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, grand-children, one brother and seven sev-en sisters, as follows: Reed Larsen and Mrs. Clara Perry, both of Mapleton; Mrs. Ellen Miller, Mrs. Alta Johnson and Mrs. Alberta Dedricksen, all of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Lester (In a) Otteson, Springville; Mrs. Thelma Norse and Mrs. Lee Roy (Ivy) Mitchell, Salt Lake City. |
