Show i i LEONA BOLT Colorado woman dies in Uintah County Hospital Leona Boldt, 67, of Grand Junction, Colo., died in the Uintah County Hospital Sept. 29, 1980. Born Nov. 2, 1912 to George Walter and Phidelia Hullinger Anderson in Vernal. She married William Phillips and they later divorced. She married Alfred Boldt of Vernal and he died in 1973. She was a member of the LDS Church, former member of the VFW Auxiliary and Elks Auxiliary, former owner and manager of Notty Pine Cafe in Lava Hot Springs, former owner and manager of cafe in St. Helens, Ore., an manager of Royal Inn Motel and City Market Delicatessen, Grand Junction, Colo. Survivors are three borthers, Harold L., MelvinS. (Duff), Arvan (Bud); and five sisters, Mrs. Iva Wilson, Mrs. Ralph (Dolores) Rolfe, Mrs. Kenneth (Verlie) Stringham and Lola Anderson all of Vernal and Mrs. Owen (Mable) Johnstun of St. George, Utah. A son, William (Billy) Phillips, preceded her in death. Funeral services are Thursday at 11 a.m., in the Vernal Sixth Ward Chapel. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday at 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. |
