Show Services today, Second Yard, for John Lowe Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 1 p.m., in the Second-Eighth Ward Chapel, Chap-el, for John Powell Lowe, 58, who died of a heart ailment, Monday, May z4, lybo, while at work at Geneva 'Steel. Bishop Morgan Thomas of the Second Ward, will be in charge of the services. Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories, Spanish Fork, before be-fore the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Lowe was born March 20, 1907 in Springville, a son of William Nephi and Mary Louise Powell Lowe. He married mar-ried Vera May Johnson in Springville, Oct. 25, 1934. He had worked as a shearman shear-man in the rolling mills at Geneva for 22 years. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America. Survivors include his widow, Springville; sons and daughters,, daugh-ters,, Edie Lewis, Julie, Vernon, Larry and George N. Lowe and Mrs. Homer (Margaret) Beardall, Bear-dall, all of Springville; Mrs. Rulon (Wilda) Gordon, Mrs. Howard (Rena) Newmeyer Jr., both of Spanish Fork; Mrs. William (Nancy) Williams, of Moab. There are also eleven grand-brothers grand-brothers and sisters: O. C. (Billie) Lowe, Glen Lowe and Earl Lowe of Springville; Paul Lowe, Mrs. Howard (Rose) Davis, San Diego, Calif.; Ray Lowe, Mrs. Richard (Ada) Micholes, Sacramento; Mrs. tVayne (Lela) Christianson, Lakewood, Calif. |
