Stock- ! man, soloist and Martin Stockman and ; Miss Marlon Tuttle, readers. j Two Parties Given for Popular Bride IN compliment to Miss Mabel Parker, who will be married Thursday to Jay H. Stockman, Miss Mai-jorie White-ley White-ley entertained at tea at her home on Wilson avenue yesterday afternoon. Sun flowers decorated the living room. A green and white color scheme was developed de-veloped in the decorations for the tea table. White asters and ferns in a crystal crys-tal basket with green tulle formed the centerpiece. Crystal candlesticks held green candles. The. hostess was assisted In receiving the guests by her mother, Mrs. Marjorie A'hiteley. Presiding at the tea. table were Mrs. J. Tracy Wootton and Mrs. Calder Mackay. Assisting in serving were Thomas, Miss Lucile Snedden and Miss Miss Mary Sherwood, Miss Evangeline Elizabeth Prosser. The guests numbered 45. Mrs. E. B. Stockman, mother of the bridegroom, entertained last evening In honor of her son and his bride. The evening eve-ning was spent Informally and a late supper sup-per was served. A pink and white color scheme was carried out in the table decorations. A pink vase of white sweet peas was the centerpiece. The place cards were a bride and bridegroom for the guests of honor and kewpies for the other guests. The favors were wedding bells. At the place of the bride the bell was gilded and filled with rice and the favor for the bridegroom was a gilded pipe filled wth rice Pink and white ribbons extended from the chandelier to each 'Place The ices were molded in the form of pink lieHrts. , Covers were laid for Miss Parker.
