Show Home Reception At Orem Fetes The Boyd flielsons In impressive wedding rites Miss Carol Reese and Boyd Nielson exchanged vows last Thursday in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Following their t marriage mar-riage the newlyweds were honored hon-ored at a wedidng breakfast at the Hotel Temple Square, given by the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Lamont Nielson of Roosevelt. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Reese of Orem. On Friday evening the couple greeted guests at a lovely wedding wed-ding reception at the home of the bride's parents, where they stood before the fireplace which was banked with a profusion of garden flowers. The bride looked look-ed radiant in a gown of silk shantung, designed with a lace bodice and a square neckline, accented with a double strand of pearls. A dainty design of sequins and seed pearls decorated decor-ated the full bouffant skirt. Parents of the bride and bridegroom bride-groom stood in the receiving line with the honored couple. The new Mrs. Nielson is a former Brigham Young University Univer-sity student and the groom attended' at-tended' the same university a little over two years. He previously pre-viously graduated from the Roosevelt High School and served two years in the U. S. 'armed service. He will attend school at Provo next fall and the young couple will make their home in Orem. Those who accompanied the couple through the temple and who attended (the wedding breakfast were parents of both the bride and bridegroom, Mrs. Deon Galloway of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Shepherd of Provo, Mrs. Pauline Galloway and Mrs. D. H. Hackey of Preston, Pres-ton, Idaho; Austin Wahlquist of Ogden, and Mrs. Maude Wahlquist Wahl-quist and Mrs. H. R. Barnes of Salt Lake City. |
