Show I - Recent Newlyweds Honored At Wedding Reception And Dance $::: Recent newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. t ;C!em Oberhansly, were complimented compli-mented last Saturday evening at a reception at the Roosevelt stake a:: house, when many guests called is;:' to offer congratulations to the s v' couple. The new bride is the jdaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thure Carlson, and the groom's parents j (are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ober-Itf'hnsley Ober-Itf'hnsley of Neola. v-. Beautiful potted plants served as i setting for the social event, and guest book signing was under the direction of Mrs. Fred Riding. For the reception the new Mrs. Oberhansly chose' a white ballerina baller-ina length gown of nylon net over satin, fashioned with a fitted bodice and full bouffant skirt.. Her shoulder-length veil was caught to a Juliette cap, edged with seed pearls. She wore net mitts' and carried a bridal bouquet of pink and white carnations. In the receiving line with the bride and groom were the bride's1 parents and the groom's father and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Oberhansly. Matron of honor, Mrs. Farris Timothy, wore a ballerina bal-lerina length gown, designed with a velvet fitted bodice and full plaid taffeta skirt. The bridesmaids, brides-maids, Miss Gloria Riding, Miss Carol Larsen and Miss Nona Lee Holgate, were gowned in ballerina baller-ina frocks of white and pastel shades. Their corsages were of pink and white carnations. Mother of the bride wore an afternoon dress of blue-grey taffeta. Best man for the occasion was Ferris Timothy. Dancing was enjoyed to Reynolds' Rey-nolds' orchestra, and the follow ing program vas announced by the mistress of ceremonies, Mrs. Vere Neilsen of Bridgeland: vocal solo, Mrs. Dorothy Luck, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Tal Wardle; vocal Solo, Carol Brown, accompanied by Miss Connie Oberhansly; Hawaiian Ha-waiian dance, Dianna Labrum, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs1. Nettie Reynold's; Rey-nold's; vocal solo, Roy Olsen, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Keith Lemon; vocal solo, Joe Clayburn, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Malcolm Walters; humorous skit, Mrs. Delma Bas-tian Bas-tian and' Mrs. Jay Larsen; quartet, Gloria Riding, Carol Larsen,' Rhea Nelson and Nona Lee Holgate, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Keith Lemon. Centering the reception table was a beautiful three-tierd white wedding cake,- trimmed with silver and topped with a silver bell. Pink and white tapers gave, a completed com-pleted accent. In charge of serving were Mrs. Verlin Labrum and Mrs. Ruth Gail, assisted by the bride's attendants. Mrs. Riding and' Mrs. ElmeT Eldredge directed gift room-arrangements, room-arrangements, Out-of-town friends attending the' reception were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Hel-m-'r Anderson of Salt Lake City. The newlyweds are making their home in Roosevelt. Hosts for the reception included Mr and Mrs. Carlson, Mr. and Mrs'. Will Oberhansly and Mr., and Mrs. Verlin Labrum, |
