Show Lovely Fall Wedding Unites Fay Goodrich, Howard Horrocks Miss Fay Goodrich, the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Deloy Goodrich, Good-rich, of Vernal, changed her name to Mrs. Howard Horrocks in nuptials solemnized Sept 25 in the Naples ward chapel Mr Horrocks is the son of Mr and Mrs. Royal Horrocks, of Neola. i Banks of candles flanked by I baskets of flowers formed a lovely setting for the ceremony which was performed by Bishop J. Ross Merrell. For her wedding the former Miss Goodrich chose a ballerina length gown of white lace and nylon tulle styled with lace bodice, cap sleeves and a lace Peter Pan collar above a nylon yoke. The full bouffant skirt was of nylon tulle. Elbow length nylon gloves and a nylon net veil gathered to a dainty juliet cap completed the ensemble. en-semble. Her bridal bouquet was! of red roses. i The bridesmaid, Shirley Mor-1 tensen, was attired in an ol-; shoulder model of white over blue net accented with a cor-j sage of pink carnations. i Garth Horrocks, brother of ' the groom, stood as best man. I For her daughter's wedding; Mrs. Goodrich chose a dress of! black with red stripes. Mrs. Horrocks wore a red creation. Both mothers had white carnation carna-tion corsages. Immediately following the wedding ceremony the young couple greeted guests at a reception. re-ception. Peggy Goodrich presided pre-sided over the guest book. Ushering Ush-ering was done by Oral Goodrich Good-rich and Ruby McCarrell. Gift bearers were Karen Luch and Darlene Johnson and Mary Winters, Win-ters, Dixie Reynolds, Lylis Adams Ad-ams and Darlene Hales were in I charge of the gift tables. A three-tiered wedding cake topped with miniature bride 1 and groom formed the table cen-I cen-I terpiece in the service room. It stood on a lace covered table flanked with lighted pink and white tapers. Serving tables were centered with low bowls of petunias and asters.. Serving was done by Ha Man-waring. Man-waring. Norma Jean McLean and Lois Goodrich, Dezzie and Ella Goodrich, Zina Gardiner, Zelda Raynolds, Reva Ruppe, Maude Anderson and Elva Man-waring Man-waring assisted in the kitchen. A program was presented during dur-ing the evening with Dale Open-shaw Open-shaw acting as master of ceremonies cere-monies and included a vocal duet by Erma and Janet Goodrich Good-rich accompanied by Leah Simper; Sim-per; a vocal solo, by LaRue Caldwell, accompanied by Eloise Caldwell; vocal solos with guitar gui-tar accompaniment, by Charles Glines, and a number from the Naples quartet, consisting of Verdin Goodrich, Dale Open-schaw, Open-schaw, DeMar Duvall and Terry Anderson. The new Mr. and Mrs. Horrocks Hor-rocks enjoyed a honeymoon trip in southern Utah before returning return-ing to Vernal, where they will make their home. " v K y ' t ' , - ' - yf - i .
