NELDON JOHN DUTTON Marie Elizabeth Ashdown Nuptials Revealed Cedar Fifth Ward Relief Society So-ciety Rooms were the setting Saturday evening. Dec. 19, for the wedding and reception of Miss Marie Elizabeth Ashdown and Neldon John Dutton. Bishop Homer S. Jones of the Cedar City Fifth Ward performed iiie uouble-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melborne Ashdown nt Cedar City and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Dutton of Panguitch. For the occasion the bride chose a gown of white nylon lace lined with pale blue satin. Her veil of nylon net, trimmed with lace, fell from a coronet of white roc buds anrf orang blossoms. blos-soms. She carried a bouquet of white mums and pink roses. Attending the bride as Matron of honor was Mrs. Stewart Murie. Bridesmaid was MLss Martha Krauser of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Murie wore a white wool sheath' dress with fur trim. Miss Krauser was attired in white embossed nylon of ballerina length. Both carried bouquets of pink carnations. carna-tions. Standing as best man was Wendell Dutton, brother of the bridegroom and ushers were El-win El-win Davenport, and Melborne Ashdown, Jr., brother of the bride. Serving at the recepifon were Reva Dutton, Deiida DcLong, Hilda Hil-da Dutton and Arlene Dutton. Assisting As-sisting in the kitchen were Mrs. Broze Davenport and Mrs. Carlos DeLong. Gift room atendants were Mrs. Mary A. Urie, Mrs. Kern Bulloch, and Miss Linda Taylor. i'be you:: couple will remain in Cedar City through the Christmas Christ-mas holidays after which they will make their home in Kanab. The new Mrs. Dutton is a graduate grad-uate of Cedar High School. Mr. Dutton atended schools In Panguitch. |
