Show Whitneys to Attend Son's Wedding In Mesa LDS Temple Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Whitney are leaving Saturday morning for Mesa, Ariz, to be present at the marriage of their son, Homer R. Whitney, to Miss Marie Griner of the Arizona city. The Whitneys Whit-neys will be accompanied to Mesa by their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Whitney, Parowan, and their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Buke, of Provo. Mr. Whitney and Miss Griner will be married on Monday morning. morn-ing. Mar. 14 in the L D S Temple at Mesa, and will be honored at a wedding reception that evening eve-ning in the Mesa Tenth Ward chapel. The bride to be is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mernice L. Griner Gri-ner of Mesa. She returned home a year ago after fulfilling a mission mis-sion for the L D S church in the Great Lakes Mission, and is now employed as secretary to Dr. Harvey Fletcher of Brigham Young University. Mr. Whitney Is a veteran of World War II, and Is a graduate gradu-ate of the local high school and the Brigham Young University. He Is at the present time employed em-ployed In the Provo City Utiti-ties Utiti-ties division as an accountant, and they will make their home in that city. |
