Show Temple Rites to Unite Patsy Neeley, KlienRollofAug.U Mr. and Mrs. Herschel M. Nee-ley Nee-ley have announced that their daughter, Patsy Ruth, and Klien Rollo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Mor-gan Rollo, will be married in a temple ceremony Friday evening, August 11. The young couple will exchange vows in the Manti Tempie. Returning to Cedar City they will be honored at a reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neeley Nee-ley Saturday evening, after which they will leave for a honeymoon trip to California. The bride-to-be is a graduate of the Cedar City high school and attended the Branch Agricultural Agri-cultural college last year, where she was affiliated with the Phi Alpho Beta sorority. She was active ac-tive in extra curricular affairs at both schools, particularly in the field of music. At present she is employed at the Mountain States Telephone Company. The- groom, a graduate of the Cedar high school and the Branch college, attended the University of Utah last winter, where he majored in Journalism. He had planned to return to the University this year to complete his studies, but has been called to military dutv with the Na tional Guard. At the two local schools he was active in athletics, athle-tics, music and school publications. publica-tions. He was editor of the B. A. C. school paper, and won an award for his work in the field of journalism. jour-nalism. He was affiliated with the Gamma Psi fraternity on the B A C campus. Do-Si-Do Dance Club Host at County-wide Allan Enterprise: The Do-Si-Do club of Enterprise played host to the majority of the seasoned square dancers of Washington county on the open air pavilion here Friday night in the county-wkle square dance round-up This round-up was under the direction of Enterprise officers, Heber R. Truman, president, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Holt, directors. The major outside club in at-tendance at-tendance was the Jean and Calico Cali-co club of St. George under the direction of Kenneth Cannon, president, and Jerry Salisbury, vice president. Also, smaller groups traveled from Leeds, New Harmony, Washington, Hurricane and a few from Panaca, Nevada that had been Invited to participate parti-cipate in the meet. Mr. Truman reported that there were at least eight squares dancing danc-ing the entire round-up from 8:30 til midnight. About midway of the event the host club served refreshments to the entire group. |
