Leary received many friend and relatives at a reception in their honor held Wednesday evening, April 3 following their wedding ceremony. The bride is the former Patricia Slack. Patricia Slack Weds in Chapel Ceremony Miss Patricia Slack and Duane W. Leary were married on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, April 3, at the Fifth Ward L D S chapel. The wedding wed-ding ceremony was performed by President Elwood J. Cony. A reception followed the couple's exchange of vows. The bride Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar A. Slack. The bridegroom's parents are Frank Leary and Mrs. Leila Unthank. Roth are from Cedar City. For her wedding and reception recep-tion the bride chose a wedding gown of ballerina length with small lace ruffles covering the skirt. She wore a pearl tiara and carried a bouquet of red roses and carnations. I Her maid of honor was Miss Laurel Smith. Other attendants were Betty Ann Franczweskl, Laura Stratton and Janice Con-die Con-die and the bride's three younger young-er sisters, Kathy, Gloria and Wendy Wen-dy as flowtr girl. The flower girls were dressed in like pink and green dresses. Standing as best man was Robert A. Slack. Serving as receptionists for the evening was Wilma Anderson, sister of the bride, with Ethel Slack as hostess. Assisting In the gift room were Viola Bauer, Ada Perry, Gail Bullock Bul-lock and Elva Jean Robb. In the kitchen were Mai Slack, Verda Slack and Irene Bryant. |
