Show Former Parowan resident succundsj service held divorced. He married Argen Neubarth. He is survived by his wife, Argene,' of San Diego, his father LaMont of Parowan, Mother Mildred, of Cole Camp Missouri,; one son and three daughters: Frank LaMont andMrs. Marv Kate L. Dill both of -v . . - -, i -- J ; ' i' , Tri f 1 ft Carlos LaMont Lowe, formorly of Parowan, died in a San Diego Hospital of Cancer 24 June 1980. Carlos was born to LaMont H. and Mildred Van Gorder Lowe on 19 January 1933. He attended at-tended schools here where he was a honor student. He worked on the railroad in western Iron County for a few years before moving to Southern Calif. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served his country four years with San Diego as his home base. From the Navy he joined the San Diego county Police Dept. where he worked five years as a detective in the Arson Explosives Ex-plosives Unit. Later he transferred to the Sheriffs dept where he worked nearly 19 years. His last service was a balif in the juvenile courts, a job he did up until his illness forced horn to the hospital. It was while on the Parowan Mt. fencing with his father last fall that he became too ill to enjoy the final days of his vacation. Upon returning to his labors in Calif, and the subsequent tests at the hospital, he learned of the illness which took his life. Carlos married Mary Ann Cosgrove in Calif. They had 4 children. Later they CARLOS LOWE San Diego; Mrs. Johanna L. Burch-Petersen and Mrs. Elizabeth Ann L. ' Majors, both of San Antonio, Texas. Two sister, Mrs. Marie L. Kossak of Alta Lcma Ca. and Mrs. Jeannine L. Whilhite of Bakersfield, also 4 grandchildren. grand-children. Services were in San Diego Calif. |
