Show Funeral Rites Held ior . Catherine Roundy Funeral services were held last week in Hurricane for Mrs. Sarah Catherine Stapley Roundy, 83, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Reva Webster, in Cedar City. She died Just 23 days after her husband's death. Mrs. Roundy was born in Ka-narra, Ka-narra, October 28, 1886, a daughter daugh-ter of James and Young Elizabeth Eliza-beth Steele Stapley. When but 15 years of age she became secretary secre-tary of the Relief Society and later became president and was a teacher In that organization for many years. She married Joel J. Roundy on March 11, 1388, in the St. George temple. Surviving are the following children: James L. Roundy, Kanarra; Golden Roundy, Bluewater, N. M.; Karl Roundy and Stella Russell, Rus-sell, Hurricane; Annis Tietjen, Gallup, N. M.; Reba LeFevre, Panguitch, and Reva Webster, Cedar City. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. May Kay, of Mona, Utah, and three brothers, William Stapley, Stap-ley, Salt Lake City; M. M. Stap-ley, Stap-ley, Cedar City, and John Stap-ley, Stap-ley, Kanarra; 36 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. |
