Show STEWART ECCLES IS B0RIE0 IN EDEN CEMETERY Funeral services for the Stewart Eccles, Ec-cles, late president of the London conference con-ference of the Mormon church were held yesterday at the home of Will iam Eccles, 2555 Jefferson avenue, at the Sixth ward meeting house and in the Eden ward meeting house. The service at the Eccles home was brief, consisting of a dupf by Mrs. Bernlce Glazier and Jed Ballan-tyne Ballan-tyne and a prayer by Patriarch David Da-vid McKay The funeral cortege was then formed and the mourners followed follow-ed the body of the prominent churchman church-man to the Sixth ward meeting nous3- At the Sxth ward, President T. B Evans of the Ogden stake, presided at the service, and Bishop O. M. Sanderson San-derson was in charge-of the program Members of the Ogden TabernarP.? choir, under the direction of Prof Jo ceph Ballantyne, Bang "O My Father,' Fa-ther,' "Count Your Many Blessings ' and "My Father Knows." The duet part in the last number was sung by Mrs. Glazier and Jed Ballantyne, The first speaker was Elder Ras-mussen, Ras-mussen, who accompanied the body of Mr. Eccles home from England with the widow He spoke in glowing glow-ing terms of the deceased as a man and especially as a missionary and church officer Adam Patterson. Bishop Brown of Evanston. Apostle D. O. McKay and Apostle Heber J. Orant also spoke, each one eulogizing the life of Mr. Eccles as having been one filled with good work. President T B Evans read a number num-ber of resolutions of sympathy and respect from several organizations with which the deceased was connected connect-ed to the family and the benediction was pronounced by President. T. E. McKay The service was largely attended at-tended and numerous floral tributes were banked upon the bier and in front of the pulpit platform At the co&f of this service, a cor-tege cor-tege of automobiles was formpd and proceeded to Eden, where a third ser vice was held with President T. B. Evans presiding and Bishop George FulW conducting. The Eden ward rhor sang seeral touching selections; Howard C. Shupe sang ' Resignation," and a male iuartet from the Eden choir sang "The Teacher's Work is Done." The speakers were Daniel C Walker, Porter S. Telason, Bishop J-vraes Brown of Evanston, Apostle David O McKay. President Evans T C Hoyt and Bishop Fuller. The meeting house was filled to its capacity capac-ity with relatives and friends of the deceased many of whom expressed ex-pressed their respect and love for the later mission president, with floral flo-ral offerings Interment in the Eden cemetery.
