Nov. 28 The United States will challenge for th Davis international lawn leunis cup for 1915 The fact that the war in Europe may prevent some of the other nations from challenging has been duly considered con-sidered by the American officials. The opinion is that this nation shold formerly issue a challenge to the Australian association at the time of the annual meeting of the United States National Lawn Tennis association asso-ciation here in January. "It has been decided to challenge Australia for the Davis cup." replied Raymond D. Little, when he was asked as to the plans of the Tennis administrations. "Of course the sending of the challenge chal-lenge ip subject to the vote of tiif delegates at the annual meeting of the association. According .to the lules governing the Davi6 cup the challenges must be. made March 1 of each year." |
