OCR Text	Show ,EAST AND WEST TO PLAY FOR TITLE Lincoln, Neb., Nov. 28. The Harvard Har-vard university football team next year, if it holds the eastern championship, champi-onship, may play the champion western west-ern eleven for the national title, according ac-cording to a special dispatch published by an afternoon paper here, containing contain-ing a statement imputed to T. K. Richards, manager of athletics, at i Eastern college. "Harvard has refused to meet the champions of the western conference and it closed the season with the Yala game," is Richards' statement, "but such a game may be arranged next year to decide the championship of the United States as it may be desirable de-sirable then." TIih statement was in response to a challenge to Harvard , to play Nebraska.
