Father Callahan of Butte was called to Great Falls last Monday morning mor-ning to assist in preaeviing the mission being given there by the Paulist Father.?. Fath-er.?. Thu temporary illness of Father Hopper, wno was in charge, rendered the move necessary. Father MeCorry, who has been recuperating in Salt Lake, arrived 1n Great Falls on Tuesday Tues-day to assist his Colleague. Father Callahan Cal-lahan returned to Butte the same day. The remains of Mrs. Patrick Carnev, who died in Rome, X. Y.. last week, were brought to Twin Bridges, Mont., and placed in their last resting place. The services were conducted by Rev. Father Vanderbrook. A large number of friends attended the funeral. Mr. Carney tcok his wife east some weeks ago to undergo an operation for cancer. can-cer. He felt confident that she would recover, but his hope was in vain as she passed to the Great Beyond. The deceased vras born In Boston, and wa3 30 vears of age. "' She was married to i Hon.
