Show Entertaining the Tots. The 200 or more little tots of St. Vincent's Vin-cent's orphanage were royally entertained enter-tained at a sumptuous Thanksgiving banquet, and long before the usual dinner din-ner hour there was merry noise and excitement, ex-citement, for, after assisting to prepare pre-pare the dinner, each little one was gowned in best bib ar.dueker, and as they marched into the dining room there was a universal sigh whether at the inability to consume all, or in Thanksgiving, it would be difficult to tell. As the little heads bo-ed low as grace was repeated in chorus, the eyes did not have the accustomed look of demure docility and how could they, with great heaps of "goodies" winking and blinking at them? Turkey and cakes and candies and, "Oh my, everting," ever-ting," c.ne little girl breathed in an overwhelming way, was placed before . them by those whose bounty and thankfulness thank-fulness remembered the orphans. |
