Show BALL FOR CHARITY PATIENTS. I One of the most successful dinners given Thanksgiving was at Arion hall for the charity patients c-f St. Anthony's hospital. It was under the auspices of the Ladies' Aid society of that institution, institu-tion, and with the receipts of the ball last night is expected to bring in $1,000 for the good work undertaken. Over 200 covers were laid at one time and 650 dinners were served. The materials were all donated by the members of the aid society, and seventy turkeys were cooked for the occasion. The tables were handsomely decorated with ferns, smilax, carnations and chrysanthemums. chrysanthe-mums. The entire Catholic clergy took their Thanksgiving dinner there in order or-der to help along the object for which it was given. Me- ' (Jo wan, Charles Kirk, Francis Fisher, William McCadden, Henry Crosen, Thomas McGovern and .Misses K. CampbeU, Mamie and Agnes McMann, Anna O'Neil, Annie Toppe, Anna Ke-rin, Ke-rin, Mabel Bobbins, .Maude Dumphy, Byrd O'Brien, Aggie Engiert, Lizzie Smith, Lena Callahan, Aggie Smith, Rose Stetter and Katie Siler. I The ball in the evening was one of the events looked forward to for. weeks before hand by all those who have enjoyed en-joyed them from the first one given five years ago. In tho evening Arion hall was not large enough to hold comfortably comforta-bly all the dancers. The company, however, how-ever, was good matured about it, and the music was kept up until a late hour, while the dancing went merrily on.
