One amendment permits the legislature legis-lature io inakc tax exemptions and provides pro-vides specifically for the exemption of a homestead In value not less than $1000 for the head of a family, The resolution also permits the state to Bocure a time longer than twenty years for the payment pay-ment of a public debt The other resolu-tlon resolu-tlon provides for tho assessment of property prop-erty at Its full value and for a graduated rate of taxation on all property lo be fixed by the legislature If these resolutions secure Iho affirmative affirma-tive vote of two-thirds of the membership member-ship of cadi house, they will bo submitted sub-mitted to the people of tho state at the general election of 1911 for their ap-i ap-i proval. |
