Show INTENT IS TO ' PROTECT LABOR K'V'iius of Salt Lake yesterday Introduced Intro-duced In the house a bill designed to prevent pre-vent misrepresentation on the part of any person or company In Inducing strikebreakers strike-breakers to go to places where a strike Is in progress or where one Is threatened 1 or expected. ! The bill provides that it will be unlawful unlaw-ful for any person or company or agent I to Induce. Influence, persuade or engage i anv workmen of any class to change from i ono point to another In this stato or to bring any workmen Into or take them out uf the state to work at any labor by means of false or deceptive representations, representa-tions, false advertising or false pretense concerning the kind or character of work or the amount of compensation or the sanitary conditions, or us to the existence exist-ence or nonexistence of strikes, lockouts or other labor troubles. In short, a full and truthful statoment of nl conditions I must be made when employment Is of- "V'aHuifi to comply with tho rcrjulrc-' rcrjulrc-' nents Is made a misdemeanor; and, furthermore, fur-thermore, any workman who has been ln-iluoncod ln-iluoncod by falsu representations shall ! have tho right lo recover for his transportation, trans-portation, for his time lost and for any other damages he may suffer. |
