The house committee on public landa today favorably favor-ably reported Representative French's bill providing for the designation by the secretary sec-retary of the interior of 32O.000 acros of land In Idaho from areas now subject to entry under the enlarged homestead act, which may be acquired by entrymen without complying with the residence requirement of the general homestead act. The committee also favorably reported Senator Smoot's bill granting right of way through Mount Olivet cemetery to the Emigration Canyon Railroad company.
