IV' MONTANA EATLiROAD BOARD SUBMITS RATE SCHEDULE HELENA. July 16. The hearing before be-fore the state railroad board on the question of ore rates was continued today. to-day. The cross-examination of A. G. Woodworth. traffic manager of the Northern Pacific, was finished, and H. A. Jackson, general freight agent of tho Great Northern, was put on the stand. They justified the present charges in practically all instances, but expressed a willingness to remedy any i just grievances. The board has sub mitted a tentative schedule which calls ; for reductions varying from 25 to -10 r ' per cent, to which tho railroads make decided objection. |
