The sharp advance ad-vance In the London tin market yesterday was followed by further strength today, both spot and futures advancing 1 2b 6d. the former closing at 133 10s and the latter at 134 10s. The advance was attributed to further purchases for shipment ship-ment to this country. Local prices were 1c higher, In sympathy with the London advance, closing at $29,25329.60 for spot-Copper spot-Copper was dull and lower In London, closing at 57 12s Gd for spot and at 50 Cs 3d for futures. No change occurred locally, lako closing at ?12.7oQU2.S7J; cqc-trolvlic, cqc-trolvlic, $12.5012.75. casting, $12.31 12.50. Lead declined 2s 6d in London, to 12 17s Gd. and remained unchanged in Iew York at $4.40Q4.45. Spelter was unchanged in both markets, closing at 19 in London and at $4.45 4.50 locally. There was a steadier tone In London Iron. Standard foundry closing unchanged at 49s 3d, while Cleveland warrants were lsd higher, at 5s 4d. L-ocal quotations were unchanged. Closing Stock List. Canadian Wheat Crop. WINNIPEG. July 16. Second Vice-President Vice-President William II. Whyte of the Canadian Paclllc railway returned today from a trip through the grain fields of western Canada.
