Show PROMINENT WOMAN OF H PASADENA TRIES SUICIDE PASADENA, Cal-, July 16. Mrs. Edith M. Toagle. wife or Walter C. Teagle of Cleveland O., an official of the Standard 'B Oil company. Is today reported dying In the Pasadena hospital from a. bullet wound Inflicted, presumably by hers eh. last night. Mrs- Toaglo, who Is about o0 iH years old. has resided in this city for im about two years. While her nurse was in Los Angeles making arrangements for a trip to Cleveland Mrs. Tcagle shot her- jH self through the head at her home and lM was found a few hours afterward by jH the. nurse when she returned, a revolver lH clutched In her hand. Mrs Teaglc-'s action Is attributed to a jH fit of melancholia, resulting from contin- lH ued ill health. Her husband, who has been J jH in Europe for some time, was expected lH to land in New York today. Mrs. Teaglo is the daughter of W. T. Murray of HH Cleveland, head of a steel corporation and 'jH prominent in financial circles. fl |
