Show Hildegard Hill Hildegard Ingeborg Emilie Trost Hill. 75. died Dec. 28, 1986, in Bountiful. Born June 17, 1911 in Stuttgart, Germany to Maria Schuhkraft and Christian Phillip Trost. Married James Franklin Hill June 17, 1930. Marriage solemnized solem-nized Sept. 22, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was preceded pre-ceded in death by a daughter, Ber-nice, Ber-nice, in 1942 and her husband in 1955. She is survived by sons Blain E., Fairbanks, Alaska; Bruce P., En-glewood, En-glewood, Colo.; daughters, Beatrice Beat-rice Tyler, Reedley, Calif.; Bonnie R. James and Beverly Blattner, both of Bountiful; and 27 grandchildren grand-children and 47 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Came to Rexburg, Ida. in 1921 from Germany, attended Madison High School and Ricks College in Rexburg. Taught in one room schools in Bonneville County, Idaho Ida-ho at West Bank in Irwin, Fidelity School (Whiskey Run) at Swan Valley, and Dehlin School near lona from 1940-43. Worked for C.C. Andersons in Idaho Falls. 1943-44. Moved to Walla Walla, Wash, in 1944. Worked Work-ed at Washington State Prison, McCaw Army Hospital, and Walla Walla Veterans Administration Hospital. After the passing of her husband in 1955 she attended Walla Wal-la Walla College obtaining a bachelor bache-lor of arts degree in 1959 and completed com-pleted a master's degree in counseling coun-seling and special education at Brigham Young University in 1967. She taught school at Maxson School and was both teacher and HILDEGARD INGEBORG EMILE TROST HILL counselor at Garrison Junior High in Walla Walla from 1957 to 1974 when she retired. She was a member of the Walla Walla 3rd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions. She was also a member of Zonta Interna-tioal, Interna-tioal, an international woman's organization, Retired Teachers Associations, and the Walla Walla Valley Pioneer and Historical Society. Soci-ety. World traveler with many trips to Germany, an avid genealogist. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. in the Bountiful 21st Ward Chapel. 650 S. 200 E. under the direction of Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. Mortu-ary.
