Show Coeds attend conference BOUNTIFUL -- Two Bountiful High School seniors attended the Utah Governor's Annual Conference Confer-ence on Economic Development focusing on the importance of future fu-ture development. KRISTEN Inkley and Jennifer Lund were hosted last week at the Governor's reception and later heard addresses from Peter Grace, chief executive officer of W.R. Grace and Co. , and Beryl Sprinkle, chairman of Pres. Reagan's Council Coun-cil of Economic Advisors. The students stu-dents also met with Lt. Gov. Val Ovcson to discuss the importance of economic development in Utah's future. The conference was part of Utah Economic Development Week planned by the Utah Business and Economic Development Board consisting of 15 community and business leaders from throughout the state. Earlier last week Gov. Bangerter urged students to prepare pre-pare themselves academically and through work skills so they could take advantage of Utah's growing market for highly-skilled jobs. |
