Hancey has accepted a mission call to serve in the Chile Osorno Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. MIKE ENTERS the Mission Training Center on March 6. Friends and relatives are invited to attend an open house at his home, 656 E. 250 N., Bountiful on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 6-8 p.m. ELDER HANCEY'S farewell will be at 10:10 a.m. Feb. 23 at the Bountiful 16th Ward, 720 E. 550 N., Bountiful. Mike is the son of Max and Nan Hancey. HE GRADUATED from Viewmont View-mont High School in 1984 and has been attending Southern Utah State College, majoring in music education with an emphasis in musical theatre. Elder Ronald K. Honey, son of Mrs. Johan Honey, Bountiful and Bruce Honey, Salt Lake City, has accepted a call to serve in the Tokyo Japan South Mission for the LDS Church. HIS FAREWELL will be held Feb. 23 in the Val Verda 5th Ward, at 2500 S. Davis Blvd. in Bountiful at 10:50 a.m. He enters the Mission Training Center Feb. 27. Following the meeting friends and relatives are invited to attend an open house at his home. RON GRADUATED from Woods Cross High School where he was on the football team and is an Eagle scout. He has been working work-ing for Wheeler Construction Company. Joseph T. Neville and Evelyn M. Neville returned recently after serving a year's mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints in the England Manchester Man-chester Mission. They were engaged en-gaged in proselyting, leadership and member work in the Rawten-stall-Lancashire, Glossop-Derbyshire Glossop-Derbyshire and Hyde-Cheshire areas in the nortwest part of England Eng-land where the first mission of the church outside the United States was opened in 1837. FOLLOWING their release on Dec. 4, the couple toured England, Italy, Israel and Egypt. The Nevilles reported their missionary mis-sionary experiences in the Bountiful Bounti-ful 50th Ward Sacrament meeting on Sunday, Feb. 9. After the service ser-vice they visited with family and friends at an open house at their residence at 1476 Vineyard Drive, Bountiful. |
