Woods Cross led 14-0 at one point and 27-7 after the first quarter, quar-ter, as the Lady Wildcats moved to 9-0 in league and 18-1 overall. Davis was led by senior Nancy Kirkpatrick with 19 and junior Christen Packard with 10. VIEWMONT 83 HIGHLAND 47 At Viewmont, the Vikings got back on the right track following two straight losses by mauling the Rams. Senior Angel Skedros led the onslaught with 2 1 points, senior Amy Yeates had 17, and juniors Julie Stuart and Launee Larsen added 14 apiece. The game marked the return of Larsen after missing three games due to an injury. The win assured Viewmont of finishing no worse than third, and thus keeps them from having to play the "wild card" game for state. EAST 59 BOUNTIFUL 52 At East, the Lady Leopards pulled pul-led the upset, thus keeping the Davis Darts alive in the race for third place. Bountiful now must win tonight, or hope Davis loses to Highland, in order to avoid the wildcard game. With all that in mind, here is the |
