At the RAWSON home over the week end were son, MURRAY, his wife and kiddies. They came down from Idaho to attend LDS conference ... At the Relief Society social last week the outgoing presidency, EVA BORG, ELSIE PLOWGIAN, RUTH " HUFF, and NORMA WHITE were each presented a book by the new officers. R. S. is in full swing now with a complete new corps of officers and teachers. JOAN BROWN is president, MINNIE SIEVERTS and BESSIE RODGERS, counselors and 'jANE GOSS, secretary; MELBA HALL, chorister; FERN CUTLER, CUT-LER, organist; FRANCES SCHADE, teacher topic; DOROTHY VAN ORMAN, theology; NELLIE SMITH, literary; JOYCE ANDERSON, AN-DERSON, social science; and TESSIE JOHNSTON, visiting teacher teach-er supervisor. RUTH HUFF, RUBY PLOWZAK and LOLA TIBBETTS are work directors. Ruth Huff is going to go all out this winter to teach all the little tricks of dress making to those desiring to learn BRYAN WHEELER, his wife and baby are back in S. H. ward to make their home. Bryan is still with the FBI and has been transferred here. His friends are all happy to see him home for a while as his visits for the past few years have been hurried hur-ried ones. They are at the Wheeler home, 1901 South 10th East . . . There is a tiny baby girl come to make her home with the BILL MAUERMANNS. Mama and dady are up in the clouds and up to now they haven't found a name cute enough for the little one . HENRINA BOEKHOUT has recently been sustained as ward organist. She replaces JOHN EDWARD. Mrs. Boekhout has only been in this country a short time. She and her husband hus-band came from Holland . . . ERMA OSMOND has been sustained sus-tained as secretary of the M.I.A. She replaces GERRIE ROSER. i Sunday afternoon between the hours of three and six MR. and MRS. CLAUDE BITTER, 2309 South 8th East will be the guests of honor at an open house . . . The occasion is honoring hon-oring the 46th wedding anniversary anni-versary of the couple. The affair will be held at the home of MR. and MRS. MEL-VIN MEL-VIN BOND, 1986 South 14th E. Assisting their parents in greeting greet-ing guests during the afternoon will be MISS MAE BITTER, MR. and MRS. C. ELDON BITTER BIT-TER of Provo and MR. and MRS. CHARLES A. GROBERG of Ogden. |
