Show Petty Motor Co., Builds Large-Addition An addition to the Petty Motor Co., valued at $125,000 will be completed before Christmas Christ-mas according to company officials. offi-cials. Located on 9th East, roughly one-quarter of a block north of 21st South, the building is being designed to handle body and fender repair, a paint shop, an upholstery department, depart-ment, a steam cleaning and un-dercoating un-dercoating room, a lubrication department and a truck service section, according to Neuman C-Petty, C-Petty, president. Pouring of cement for the basement of 5500 square feet is already complete, Mr. Petty said. When the building is completed soon after Dec. 1, the basement will be used to increase the parts facilities under the direction direc-tion of Al Hollinghaus, parts manager. The building is being constructed con-structed directly across 9th East from the present entrance to the Petty service department. Use of the new facilities when completed will be under t'he direction di-rection of L. W. (Jack) Elledge, general manager of Petty's, and B. M. (Red) Taylor, service manager. man-ager. The main floor space of the building will cover 7600 square feet. When Petty's moves its expanded services into the new building, it will make the company one of the largest in the intermountain area. Architect is Clifford Evans and McCullough Construction Co. is doing the building.
