Completion Com-pletion of this bridge opens a main route to the Duchesne Oil Field, which has been closed since last spring's floods. The first bridge of the twelve approved for replacement with funds obtained through federal allocation for disaster relief in this county was the one on the Strawberry River southwest of Duchesne, near , the Weston Bates ranch. Other bridges scheduled for replacement under this flood relief re-lief program are eight on the Strawberry River; one across the Duchesne River near Hanna, at the Turnbow ranch, and one across the Lake Fork River, east of Mountain Home. Three of this group of bridges are under constrution at the present time, reports Mr. Hilbert. Hil-bert. Bridges under construction -are listed as the two on the Strawberry River, one located near the Wilbur Bates ranch, and one near the Vaughn Lott ranch. The Hanna bridge across the Duchesne River is the third such span being built. Specifications of 11 of these timber bridges call for a 48-foot span with a 16-foot roadway. Gross load limit is 15 tons. They are being built by the Contracting Con-tracting Corporation of Salt Lake City at an approximate cost of $9,000-$10,000 for labor and materials.
