Show Mrs. Bertha Angus Mrs. Violet Gentry Two Boys Have Birthday Dinner Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richens entertained at a dinner recently in honor of their son, Sylvin' and Leland Mecham, whose birthdays are the same day and the boys are the same age. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Mecham were guests. Mr. and Mrs. William Fausett, of Roosevelt, visited at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Warr, on Saturday. Mrs. Donna Lemon and children chil-dren spent Sunday afternoon with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson, of Upalco. 'Senor Mortensen spent the past week; at Beithond, Colo., the guest of his sister, Mrs. Paul Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Russon, of Roosevelt, were dinner guests of Mrs. Russon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon, Sunday. The'r was quite an excitement in Ioka, Friday, when word came that oil had been struck at the Senor Mortensen well-Mrs. well-Mrs. Lyle Gingell, of Myton, was in Ioka, Sunday. Clarence Jones, of Roosevelt, made a short visit with his brother, Howard Jones, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lloyd, of Salt Lake City, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ottto Lloyd, Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn McCarroll and two children, of Vernal, were visitors at the Wm. Fausett Fau-sett home on Sunday. Two babies were given names in Sacrament meeting, Sunday. The name of Jay Randall was given to the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Russell, while the name of Douglas Lee was given to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Benson. Both babies were blessed by their fathers Renee Russell was also confirmed con-firmed a member of the church. Archie Benson returned home Saturday from Salt Lake City, where he has been the past several sev-eral months. He was accompanied accompan-ied home by his son and family, Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Benson and children, of Richfield. Dr. and Mrs. Benson and children returned home Sunday. Ronald Lloyd had the misfortune misfor-tune to get hurt while playing at school. He got a cut on the eyebrow that required seven stitches. The officers and teachers of the Primary attended Primary convention in Roosevelt, Saturday. Satur-day. Our ward house is receiving a cleaning and paint job by the members of the ward. |
