Show Myton Lions Club Honors Ladies The members of the Myton Lions club entertained their ladies at a steak dinner, Thursday Thurs-day evening at the Frontier Grill in Roosevelt. About 20 persons were seated at a long table tastefully arranged. Earl Gingell was chairman of ! the arrangement committee and in charge of the following program: pro-gram: accordion solo, Rudy Krissman; vocal solo, Miss Alice Smjth, accompanied by Miss Genene Harris; reading, Lavar Peterson; vocal solo, Dale Peterson, Pet-erson, with accordion accompaniment accom-paniment by himself. Philip Todd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd, will leave Friday Fri-day for San Diego, Calif, where he will enter training in the Naval Reserve. Mrs. J. F. Wilson enjoyed a weekend visit from her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd DuBois, who came from Ogden Saturday morning, returning re-turning home Sunday night. Their small son, Nickie, who resides re-sides with his grandmother, was very happy to have the short visit with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tanner went to Price Saturday to visit Mr. Tanner's mother, Mrs. Emma Em-ma Tanner, who has been quite ill with the flu. The latter, a Myton resident,-' is spending the winter with her daughter, Mrs. George Olsen, in Price. Miss Arva Tanner arrived last Thursday to spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tanner, returning to" Pro-vo Pro-vo Tuesday to resume her studies stud-ies at the BYU. While here she attended a farewell party at Upalco for Boyd Redden, who left Tuesday for the service. Franklin Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. . Ole Peterson, left Tuesday for Fort Douglas, where he will be assigned to duty in the U. S. Army. |
