Show Onion High Hall Gets Dronze Plaque On Monday A bronze plaque commemorating- the construction date and details of Union High school was affixed to a wail in the school's main entrance hall, Monday by Custodian Dick Scholes, officially marking completion com-pletion of the structure. The 24 by , 30-inch marker was installed as part of the general construction contract for the $750,000 structure. Names of Duchesne, Uintah and Union school district boards of education who served at the time of planning the building are included on the plaque. One of the Duchesne board members listed on the plaque, J. Edgar Holder, died last year. The plaque also pays tribute to the U.S. Department of Interior In-terior Indian Service, which participated in construction oi the building through direct Congressional Con-gressional appropriation; to Fet zer and Fetzer, architects, Ralph E. Child, general contractor ano Leland Stevenson, plumbing contractor. |
