Mr. Price was a missionary companion of Keith Case, -who was killed in the last war. Arthur Goodrich, brother of Mrs. Floyd Case, visited with the Case's last week. He also visited at the Iwy'le Young home "in Bluebell. Sunday dinner guests at the Edward Ed-ward Crosby home were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Evans and family. Mrs. Fay Miles and daughter, Paula visited with the Cros'bvs last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miles visited vis-ited George Casper in Fruitland on his 81st birthday. Grant Hansen and children were in Salt Lake last weekend on business. bus-iness. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell and family were weekend guests at the Lynden Hansen home. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and family visited in Arcadia Sunday. The Primary officers and teachers teach-ers have completed their Penny Drive. After working hard with a lot of success, they met at the Max Hartman home and enjoyed a lovely pot-luck dinner. . Mrs. Chester Hartman received word that her brother, Bert Mars-ing Mars-ing from Roosevelt is quite 'ill after undergoing an operation in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Mr. Chester Hartman and Mr. Floid Hartman were in Salt Lake and Ogden Monday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Vose Mower from Salt Lake City visited at the Geo. Rogers home three days last week. Mrs. Mower is a sister of Mr. Rogers. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Axel Anderson from Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brady from Bridgeland. Their son Carl from Salt Lake-was a weekend week-end visitor. Mr. Young and son, Perry, were in Salt Lake the first part of the week on business. This contest is for the purpose of getting a new and more appropriate appropri-ate name for the school orchestra. The student council win act as judges and first prize will be three dollars. Friday night at Duchesne just seemed to be one of our off nights. The game was very exciting, and the- referees were excellent, but we just couldn't seem to get going. David Hislop was high point man for Altamont with 15 while Jimmie Grant rung up 28 for top honors of the night. 'B' TEAM WINS 54-34 Our second team really put on the steam after a half time score of 14 to 17 for Duchesne. Willard Burton was high point man with 12 points.
