Show Bluebell Pioneer Honored On 81st Birthday Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray assisted by other members of the family entertained at a dinner Saturday afternoon complimentary to the 81st birthday anniversary of Mrs. Murray's mother, Mrs. M. I Verona Winkler of Bluebell. I A delicious dinner was served to 42 persons which included 4 sons and 4 daughters, 19 grandchildren grand-children and 4 great-grandchildren. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Ira Winkler of Salt Lake; Mr. and' Mrs. Justin Winkler and son of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Winkler Wink-ler and 6 children and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Goodrich of Bonanza; Mr. and Mrs. Ross-Monson and- 3 children, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard i Winkler and 2 children, Mr! and Mrs. Keith Duke and daughter, Mrs. Lee Goodrich, Mrs. Claude Mathews, Mrs. Alice D. Gale (Mrs. Winkler's sister, who will celebrate her 83rd birthday in May), all of Bluebell; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Monson and 3 children, of Alton-ah; Alton-ah; Mrs. Charlie Larsen, of Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mrs. Joseph Mecham, the host and hostess and 2 sons, of Myton; and Mrs. Winkler, Mrs. Winkler was born at Salem, Sal-em, Utah, Feb. 12, 1874, a daughter daugh-ter of Ira W. and Alice Snow Gardner. She married Herman J. Winkler in the Manti LDS Temple July 6, 1894, and came to the Uintah Basin in 1911 when her husband filed on a homestead near Bluebell. Mr. Winkler died June 19, 1926. Since then Mrs. Winkler has continued to keep her own home, takes great pride in her crocheting and needle work, as well as being an active me'mber of the LDS church. She is the mother of 9 children, 8 of whom are still living, and all were in attendance at her birthday celebration. She has 43 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
