Advisor To iVleef LDS Stake Lenders Lou Roberts, national director of Mormon Relationships of the Boy Scouts of America, will meet tonight, Feb. 17, 1955, in Duchesne with LDS church leaders of the Roosevelt, Duchesne and Moon Lake stakes. Slated for 8 p.m. tonight, Mr. Roberts will meet with the stake presidencies, High Councils, bishoprics bish-oprics and stake and ward MIA superintendencies to discuss Scouting Scout-ing as a vital part of the L.D.S. boy's program. A member of the national staff of the Boy Scouts of America, Mr. Roberts heads up one of the four religious relationship divisions. Besides Be-sides the Mormon Relationship division di-vision there are the Catholic, Jewish, Jew-ish, and Protestant relationship divisions. di-visions. With his office in Salt Lake City, Mr. Roberts is able to work very closely with the general authorities au-thorities of the LDS church in the development of Scouting within the LDS organization. Prior to his appointment to the national staff, lie was for many years Scout Executive of the Og-den Og-den Area Council. His participating in the meeting tonight at the Duchesne stake house climaxes a two-day visit in the Uintah Basin. Yesterday he was in Vernal and last night met with LDS leaders of the Uintah stake. |
