Show I General Office District Oiffice I Altamont, Utah . Rangely, Colo. I MOON LAKE ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION 1 INC. I Altamont, Utah I February 15, 1955 I Open Letter To: I The Citizens of the City of Roosevelt, and Duchesne 1 and Uintah Counties. I In order to stop rumors, I take this means of making my own I personal statement and hopes for televison reception for the Uintah 1 Basin. I I am attempting to secure information concerning the feasibility I of re-broadcastng television signals from some high point which will . . I cover the entire Uintah Basin. At present, I am contacting respsons- I ible parties who are familiar wth this sort of thing. I Before any re-broadcasting can be done, it will be necessary to 1 secure permission and licenses from the Federal Communications Commission. I have approached the Uintah Power and Light Co., Roosevelt, ' and the Utah Power and Light Co.; Vernal, about the possibilty of cooperating with the Moon Lake Elecrtic Association in providing television service for the Basin, with the power suppliers paying all costs for tower installations and other necessary apparatus. No formal for-mal discussions have been held between the power suppliers. . The above is strictly in the idea stage and can be classed as a brain-child of mine. Very truly yours, Ron E.
