Show Attend Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Earl Case returned return-ed home Tuesday evening after an extended trip through Bryce Canyon and Zions National Park on their way to Los Angeles where they witnessed the marriage mar-riage of their son, Glen, to Joyce Barlow in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. They attended the wedding wed-ding reception held in honor of the couple in the Los Angeles stake center at which a number of former Basin residents were present. pres-ent. After the reception the newly-weds newly-weds made a short honeymoon trip up the coast of California and then returned to Provo where Glen registered at the BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Case returned via Tucson, Arizona where they visited visit-ed relatives and friends-Mr. friends-Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Orr attended attend-ed a Postmasters' convention in Roosevelt for Uintah and Duchesne Du-chesne counties. A banquet was served in the Frontier Grill banquet ban-quet room. Attending' postmasters postmast-ers were appraised of the special importanct of Civil Defense in these times. LeGrand Mecham spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Roosevelt receiving re-ceiving medical treatment for asthma. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lindsay visited vis-ited folks in Mt. Emmons and , Mtn. Home Sunday and Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Crosby returned re-turned after a week's honeymoon in San Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Crozier and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby had dinner din-ner with Bishop Mecham and family Sunday: Mrs- Elizabeth Fillmore of Salt Lake City visited Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ames and family. Mrs. Fillmore Fill-more is Mrs. Ames' mother. Mr. and Mrs. Travis Olsen, a sisted of Mrs. LeGrand Mecham, brought their father, Sill Hitchcock, Hitch-cock, home and spent the weekend week-end with the Mechams- Other Sunday Sun-day visitors in their home were Mr. and Mrs. Grant Monsen and family, .Mr. and Mrs. Ross Monsen Mon-sen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Mecham and Rocky, Mr. and Mrs. William Fieldstead and Mr. and Mrs- Anthon Rust Blake and Melba. |
