Show RELIEF SOCIETY ROOSEVELT WARD Fall activity ac-tivity will begin in the Roosevelt Ward Relief Society next Thursday at 2:00 p.m. according to Mrs. George Taylor, president. The theology lesson will be presented by Mrs. Wm. O, Whitehead. A visiting teachers' report meeting will be held following the main meeting, at which time Mrs. Reed Hancock will give the message. SECOND WARD Beginning next Monday at 2:00 p.m. the Second Sec-ond ward Relief Society will meet for a theology lesson, with a visiting visit-ing teachers' report meeting also scheduled. Approximately thirty-five attended attend-ed the opening social held last Monday, when a program was presented pre-sented and lovely refreshments served. Presiding over the activity was the president, Mrs. William Ostler, THIRD WARD The Third ward Relief Society will hold its opening social next Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. A fine program and refreshments re-freshments are on the afternoon agenda, according to Mrs. Karl Betts, president, who invites all. ladies of the ward to attend. FOURTH WARD The opening social for the Roosevelt Fourth Ward Relief Society is scheduled for next Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. R. V. Larson, president, extends an invitation to all ladies of the ward to attend. The book "Gift From The Sea" by Ann Morrow Lindberg, will be reviewed by Mrs. Hollis G. Hullinger. In addition to this, musical numbers have been arranged and a luncheon will be served. All. officers and teachers convened con-vened at the Larson residence Wednesday of last week for a planning meeting and social. A lovely luncheon was served during the evening. NOTE: Relief Societies of the 2nd and 4th wards have changed their regular meeting time the second ward to meet Monday and the fourth ward Tusday from now on. Time was just reversed last year. |
