Show Violet Gentry Bertha Angus HOSTS AT DINNER Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones entertained 17 guests at a family dinner Sunday. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Batchelor and family, fam-ily, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones and family, Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Spencer and family of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Jack Spencer was rushed to the Roosevelt LDS Hospital Saturday after becoming seriously ill. Her son Richard of Salt Lake I City came ou here to be with his mither. Mrs. Bud Whitman of Roosevelt spent Wednesday of last week with Mrs. Howard Jones. John R. Russel made a trip to Salt Lake City Wednesdy. Thomas Milburn dorve the bus for James Lemon Thursday and Friday. Edith Gentry spent Wednesday at Mrs. Bill Patry's home at a quilting bee. Mr. and Mrs. George Sucky of "Denver, Colo., announce the arrival ar-rival of a son, born Sept. 11. Little Steven George weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart are the grandparents. Mrs. Archie Price and Mrs. Jim Ross of Roosevelt were visitors at the home of Mrs. Emil Anderson Ander-son Wednesday. Miss Pinker, a teacher at the Wasatch Academy, and Louise Gentry came in for the Funk-Lar-sen wedding last week. They were overnight guests of Louise's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry. Mrs. Norman Hadden of Pleasant Pleas-ant Valley, Oriville Larsen and Thomas Larsen of Quincy, Wash., were dinner guests of their grand-mither grand-mither Mrs. Olive Sorensen, on Thursday. Visiting the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Odekirk was Eva Cordery of Salt Lake City. She is Relief Society literature teacher in the Thirty-third ward, Bonneville Stake. She wrote, "They Pass In Review," found in the Relief Society magazine in the August, 1955 issue. Mrs. Enid Nelson took care of three grandchildren while their parents attended the Fair Friday and Saturday. Evan Percival took Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and daughter, Eavette, and Beety and son, Daivd. also Ila Vay Lemon, Dora Bab-cock Bab-cock and Barbara Whiting to Heber Friday to attend the football foot-ball game. John Percival as a member of the team. Mrs. Minnie Tromley and Mrs. John Angus were Duchesne callers Wednesday. Visiting Mrs.' Angus at her home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. John Faucett and son of Vernal. Ac-compayning Ac-compayning them was Arnold Webb. |
