Show TRIDELL Lorna McKee Farmer Injured As Team Bolts Loren R. McKee was injured in an accident Saturday when the team he was driving became frightened and started running with the rake. Mr. McKee stayed with his team and rake as long as possible and then jumped. One wheel of the rake passed over his chest breaking some of his ribs and puncturing one lung. He was rushed to the Roosevelt Hospital in an ambulance where he is still receiving mdical care. Ethel and Ward Goodrich were guests at the Carl Hall home on Sunday. The Norwood Hardy family of Whiterocks were visitors at the LeRoy Morrill home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wallace and family and Mary Glines of Salt Lake City were visitors here over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Glines and son of Orem were visitors at the Charles Glines home over the past weekend. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday night were Glenn Oakes, Loren Ross and Stake High Councilman Coun-cilman LaMond Tullis. An organ solo was played by Deon Merkley. Carol Jean Goodrich has been a visitor at the Forrest Goodrich home since Thursday. Creig Ross . returned Thursday from Reno. He has spent the last three weeks in Nevada helping his brothers with some construction construc-tion work. Mr. and Mrs. Reed McKee went to Salt Lake City Friday returning Saturday with a new car. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ross and Dee of Little Bonanza were weekend week-end visitors in Tridell. 'Mrs. Kent Scholes and son of Roosevelt were visitors at the Davis Morrill home Thursday. Glenna Anderson and Christa Ross visited at the home of Ellen Lee in Vernal Friday. Edith Goodrich went to Provo Wednesday to take her daughter, Peggy,-, to enroll at the Y. Peggy is a sophomore this year. Ethel Goodrich took Charlene and 'Joan Nobel and Dolores Chegup to Provo Tuesday where they will also enroll at the BYU. The Ellis Morrills took Mart a Provo Wednesday ' where she too will go to the BYU this year. Guyla Bowthorpe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bowthorpe of Vernal, will live at the Duane McKee home this winter. Guyla will attend Union High where she is a freshman. Errol Merkley and Rondal McKee Mc-Kee left Tuesday for Logan where they will enroll at the USAC. |
