Show FFA Meeting The FFA Leadership meeting was held Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 in Roosevelt. All officers of Uintah chapter, Union chapter and Moon Lake chapter, FFA, attended attend-ed the meeting. The officers who attended from here were: president, presi-dent, Lyle Oman; vice-president, Ron Miles; secretary, Donald Dur-fey; Dur-fey; reporter, Gary Hansen, and sentinal Neal Hill. The first part of the meeting was a parliamentary procedure demonstration, in which it was decided that the land judging contest con-test will be held at Roosevelt and the area contest at Uintah. The second part of the meeting was a discussion in which two members from each chapter took part. Altamont led a discussion in the Code of Ethics; and fairs and displays. State reporter, Rulon Gilbert, was present and gave pointers on reporting FFA news, and told what was expected of us. The officers enjoyed three entertainment en-tertainment numbers: a saxophone solo, a reading and guitar solo. Pie and ice cream were served at the close of the meeting. Gary Hansen, Reporter |
